A vehicle struck a garage and a house on School Street in Calumet Township on Sunday, Aug. 30, closing part of the road and drawing a response from four agencies.
The crash damaged two separate properties, according to WLUC TV6, which had a reporter at the scene Sunday evening.
Calumet Township Fire and Rescue, the Laurium Police Department, the Houghton County Sheriff's Department and Michigan State Police all responded.
It was not clear as of Sunday evening whether anyone was injured. A Calumet Township firefighter at the scene told WLUC that no information could be released at that time.
No official statements from the responding agencies had been released as of Monday, Aug. 31. The cause of the crash and the extent of structural damage have not been publicly reported.
